The building will be wired with six pair, category five wiring. This will allow for up to six phone lines per apartment, or five phone lines and one ISDN line. ISDN allows for very fast Internet access and downloading.

Utilities

Every loft will be individually metered for electricity. High efficiency water based heat pumps will be in each loft for individual climate control. The gas fired boiler, a common hot water system, will provide hot water on demand, much like a hotel. Cost shared by residents, is more economic than individual electric hot water heaters. All other appliances are electric.

Sound Insulation Between Apartments

The demising walls are drywall with metal studs, three inch bat insulation, and a metal clip separating the drywall from one side of the stud to prevent sound and vibration transmission. This is a condominium standard and should provide excellent sound insulation.

Access Control

Residents will use a card key to gain access to the parking garage, the main lobby, the elevators. After hours, visitors will gain access via key pad/camera voice system located in main lobby. Residents must escort visitors up the elevator and the roof top deck.
